Chamba’s beauty is akin to a picture postcard thanks to the location in the midst of picturesque and verdant valleys. With an average altitude of 1,006 meters or 3,300 feet, Chamba is spread on the banks of Ravi and its tributary Sal River with Shah Madar hill as the backdrop on the eastern side.

Chamba is in the sub-Himalayan range of mountains with great diversity in its flora and fauna. It gives the visitor an exhilarating experience.
